Menu Prices

All full afternoon teas are served on our own fine bone vintage china sourced from relatives, friends or local antique shops and fairs. We provide antique silver-plated cutlery items from similar sources. Tea is poured from a family heirloom Victorian Silver Tea service with sugar bowls, tongs and milk jug. Beautiful 3-tiered cake stands crafted from the same vintage china and put together by my husband. Traditional Irish linen napkins finish off an elegantly decorated table with a posy of flowers in a vintage teapot.

For special occassions we have classic English bunting with the name of the occasion spelt out on the flags.

Everyday Afternoon Tea - £16.00 per head

Includes:- a choice of 4 mini sandwiches, 2 freshly baked teatime scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam , 2 cheese/tomato Palmier biscuits a choice of two traditional English cake, French macarons and chocolate coated strawberries

Selection of teas - traditional  afternoon tea as well as fruit, mint, Earl Grey and green teas.

Trio of vintage teacup, saucer and plate with napkin together with vintage tea knife, pastry fork and teaspoon.

Traditional English Afternoon Tea - £21.00 per head

Includes:- a choice of 4 mini sandwiches,2 freshly baked scones with Cornish clotted cream, strawberry  jam, 2 cheese/tomato Palmier biscuits a choice of two traditional English cakes and a Patisserie item, French macarons and chocolate coated strawberries

A shot glass or amuse bouche of delicate creamy delights.

Gluten- Free  Everyday Afternoon tea - £18.00 per head (price takes into consideration specialist items purchased)

Includes:- a choice of 4 mini sandwiches fillings,using gluten free bread, rolls,flatbreads or what is available at the time, 2 freshly baked GF plain scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam, a choice of 2 traditional GF English cakes either Lemon Polenta with gin and tonic icing , Carrot cake with cream cheese icing, Victoria sponge with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream icing, Coffee and walnut with coffee buttercream icing, Chocolate mud cake with salted caramel icing and Red velvet with vanilla cream cheese icing.

Champagne/Prosecco can be provided with all the above tea menus at a cost of £25 or £10 per bottle together with champagne flutes and a vintage ice bucket (ice provide too). We now have the classic "Madame de Pompadour" style French champagne glasses for your use.
